Selected topical issues include extending MetroLink to south-west Dublin, Dublin 7 school works, Bunclody Community College, Swords infrastructure, and e-scooter age rules, with these matters chosen for debate.
I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 39 and the name of the Member in each case:
Deputies Ciarán Ahern, Seán Crowe, Paul Murphy, Aengus Ó Snodaigh, James Geoghegan and John Lahart - to discuss the feasibility of continuing MetroLink from the city to south-west Dublin.
Deputy Tom Brabazon - to discuss the proposed new Garda station at Northern Cross.
Deputy Brian Stanley - to discuss regulations to provide that only those over 16 years of age can use e-scooters and e-bikes.
Deputy Martin Daly - to discuss childcare provision in Boyle, County Roscommon.
Deputy Emer Currie - to discuss a school building project in Dublin 7.
Deputy Ryan O'Meara - to discuss the establishment of a sexual assault treatment union, SATU, in the HSE Mid West region.
Deputy Malcolm Byrne - to discuss the need for the development of Bunclody Community College, County Wexford.
Deputy Marie Sherlock - to discuss the use of periodic payment orders in the courts.
Deputy Rory Hearne - to discuss the cessation of the financial contribution scheme in Dublin North-West.
Deputy Pádraig O'Sullivan - to discuss a potential State purchase of the Bessborough site in Blackrock, Cork city.
Deputy Louis O'Hara - to discuss the need for a 24-hour rapid response vehicle at Tuam ambulance base.
Deputy Duncan Smith - to discuss the need for upgraded infrastructure in the Swords area.
Deputy Roderic O'Gorman - to discuss the recording, measuring and prevention of heat-related deaths.
Deputies Gary Gannon and Ruairí Ó Murchú - to discuss issues being created in the court system by the new legal aid model.
